Tecnimont (the main operating company of Maire Tecnimont Group) leads the consortium having signed a contract with the Gazprom Group for the execution of “Package number 3” of the Amurski Gas Processing Plant (AGPP). This package consists of Utilities, Infrastructure and Off-site facilities located in Svobodny city, in the Amur district of the Russian Federation.
The Project scope entails all engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and performance test activities. The main part of the project’s activity will be performed in the first two years and the project completion is expected by the end of 2023.
The contract has an estimated overall value of €3.9 billion, made of an engineering and procurement services Lump Sum portion of approximately €1.7 billion and a provisional Reimbursable portion related to construction works, site services and site logistics, of approximately €2.2 billion.
The overall AGPP industrial complex investment is estimated at approximately €11.5 billion and once completed it will be one of the largest gas processing plants in the world with a feed gas capacity of 42 billion cubic meters of natural gas per year, representing an essential part of Gazprom’s strategic plan to supply Russian natural gas to China
